CHoWline–Let the Meatballs Rest

CHoW has a great season lined up (and wait until next year–our 15th anniversary!). We begin with CiCi Williamson talking about the history and impact of the microwave oven. I can already smell the popcorn.

Our monthly newsletter, CHoWline, features a book review every month and this month’s is Let the Meatballs Rest by Italian professor, Massimo Montanari. He is a convivial and erudite eater and thinker and his short essays draw on both current trends and ancient history. I love following food through history and culture–if you do too, consider joining CHoW. Our annual dues–$25–are an amazing bargain!
